Dad is in Wrangell and is heading to Anan Bay tomorrow. Anan Bay is famous for bear watching, hopefully there are no close encounters! Today his GPS battery ran low and when he went to change it (on the wavy water), the chip fell out. He pushed it back in and it bent. It is the chip that shows the BC coast in detail so he is having another one sent up to Prince Rupert and hopefully it will arrive in a few days.
