Goose Bay

Got an email from dad via satellite dish. He's at Goose Bay where there is an old cannery with a man named Rick living there. Yesterday there were calmer waters, but still, lots of rain. Today, he plans to head to Port Hardy. He met up with two seiners that were anchored and they invited him aboard where they gave him tea and breakfast and of course chatted for a few hours. Sounds like there are many cougars and Grizzlies in the area. He's also seen more whales and porpoises in the last few days.
