B&B. pretty nice view

( Limited pics as staying at B&B with satellite Internet .) Had great day. Left Masset in some good gusts .Crossed Hecate straight watching boats plowing through waves. Flew over Steward BC- cute town. Landed at Dease Lake and transferred some fuel from Jerry cans as pumps closed Sunday . Pretty spectacular mountains between Steward and Dease lake! Went direct to Atlin . There's a valley between the two that was stunning as was Atlin Lake which is where I'm staying for at least one night .
Couple issues today -12 volt chargers breaking down - getting new ones delivered in person ( surprise -will let you know Thursday) . Also getting a small umbrella .
Satellite phone not going through to toll free numbers - will have to fix that!
I phoned Jo on Sat phone no problem and she phoned flight services for me .She also phoned the B&B person who came out and got me!!! The other cheaper way to go is use SPOT - very reliable but limited in messages sent .
Time for my first freeze dried dinner !
The huge island on right is Theresa island in Atlin lake which is the largest fresh water lake in BC . Theresa island is largest or highest fresh water island in world - 75 klm around and my host cross countries it regularly without stopping - that's fitness ESP for guy my age !
