Day 9: Inuvik

Jack took this photos from about 6020 feet crossing the Alaska highway near Quill Creek.  Mt. Logan is Canada's highest mountain and Mount Saint Elias is the second in both Canada and the US (along the border of Yukon and Alaska).   The Canadian side is Kluane National Park.

He stopped in Old Crow, Tucktoyaktuk, then on to Inuvick.  He's met a lot of different people with a lot of their own stories.  He enjoyed the mountains of Kluane Park better than the geography up at the edge of the Bering Sea.  He found the `pingos' in the Tuk very interesting.  For those with kids, he was sure to drop off a note to Santa in the North Pole.

He said in a text that he is enjoying the exploring and is in Inuvik overnight.  He has no internet right now so cannot send photos.  He will likely head out today as the weather is ideal.
