Day 6 Fun around Whitehorse

Today Jack spent the day meeting with his IT adviser, Sean to go over more electronics details =) and to inspect the plane. He then saw some of the local sights. Remember is doesn't get dark until after 11pm

#1 Jack in Carcross looking at real estate. Great little place on Bennet Lake waterfront. Complete with one bunk, potbellied stove and air conditioned outhouse. Must have been a trappers cabin at one time
#2 On to Six Mile River Resort at Tagish. A very interesting place with LOTS of collectables.
#3 picture This afternoon when I was done work I joined him to see some sights. Saw lots of "VERY NICE" float planes, this one included =)

Jack says the air traffic controllers very friendly and helpful here as are all the folks we have met here.
When looking at the float planes Jack asked the pilot where he could buy some aviation charts. (Matt he was listening). After a bit of explaining the fellow said I have several that I don't use anymore and dropped them off at the hotel for Jack. The pilots only request was to pass the charts on to someone else when done with them. Thats the way ppl are up here, very helpful. Now he is well armed with a more than a few electronic gadgets and many maps.

For those of you who would like to leave a comment please do and sign your name. You will not see it immediately on the blog as it has to get approved for posting,so there may be a delay. Jack likes reading them when he has internet.

Tomorrow off to Dawson City if weather is good.

Goodnight from the land of the midnight sun. It is beautiful here.
